Richard Nuzzolese also known as Richie Nuzz, is a singer, trombonist, and entrepreneur paving the wave in all things entertainment industry. Richie is the co-founder and CEO of Blossom.im, an SMS application connecting artists, entrepreneurs, and influencers from all over the country to build and maintain one on one relationships. The app is changing the game and allowing individuals to be accessible and reached directly, subsequently taking their success to the next level.

We had the exclusive chance to ask him some questions about his background and what he intends to do going forward.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In five years I want to see myself alongside my beautiful growing family, touring the globe spreading love and music, and having blossom.im be this monumental app that helps millions of individuals connect and grow.

How do you define success?

I define success as spending everyday doing what you love. Over this past year I’ve gotten multiple businesses off the ground, and grown a family of my own, and I believe for my son and co workers to see a genuine passion for what I do is everything. It’s so important for your own well being as well.

How do you find opportunity?

I am definitely a spiritual person, and keep an open mind in everything I involve myself in. I like to think there’s an opportunity for something new, different, or unknown everyday, in many people we talk to. That mindset allows me to vibe with the people around me whether it’s at a meeting or a cafe, and find connections I didn’t even know were aligned for me. I also turn issues I face into a “how can this be avoided, and how can this help people in the future” type of deal, which is how blossom.im came into fruition.

What has differentiated yourself from others in your space?

I like to think blossom.im is by far the most personal sms application out there right now. With everything being all about immediacy and automation, so much of what we do has lost it’s personal touch. I can’t stand apps that are so robotic. With blossom, you have that simplicity as the user, but you are obligated to be present in connecting with your audience. To give the people who are looking out for you and what you’re doing that extra minute of your time changes so much. The whole point is to be authentic. Thats what makes blossom and its users different than what else is out there.

What does your business do?

Blossom.im allows individuals to select a 10 digit number of their choosing based on area code. The app then allows users to separate their contacts into different customized groups such as city, the kind of relationship they have, whether they’ve done business before, etc. Once that’s set up, the user can send bulk messages on a first name basis, so that any campaign, event, launch, or whatever you’re doing gets a head-start on it’s life. Blossom.im connects you directly with your audience while keeping your own personal number reserved for your own personal life. You draw the lines.
