NEW COVID-19 HEALTH APP RESTARTS WORKPLACE MEETINGS AND GATHERINGS

New York City, New York – When the pandemic hit, the worklife of millions was immediately affected. Many people worked from home, attending meetings and gatherings virtually. In fact, that loss of interaction is often the biggest complaint heard about life under quarantine, and it’s a problem that VOW, a company dedicated to the event, meeting, hospitality, and entertainment industry, set out to solve.

To restart worklife and gatherings, VOW launched VOW Digital Health, a unique COVID-19 health app. The company wanted to empower companies to return to business as usual as much as possible. With this app, employers and event organizers have testing options and a sophisticated technology that will help them uphold their commitment to people’s safety. The app allows them to streamline COVID-19 health data, communicate requirements and status to attendees and employees, and access COVID-19 testing and compliance resources.

The app’s features are remarkable. It has a customizable and automated workflow and command center to manage COVID-19 health information of employees, customers and attendees. The app captures multiple crucial data points, such as CDC screenings, COVID-19 test results, and vaccination records. VOW knew that such information is sensitive, so they made sure the technology would preserve an individual’s privacy and security.

The entire process can be done on the user’s phone or computer. Following easy-to-understand directions, users take and upload a COVID-19 test. If they have already been vaccinated, they can upload proof of this instead. To simplify the process for employers or event organizers, VOW Digital Health validates the test or vaccine. This assures employers and event organizers that all attendees are “safe” up until the event begins.

As for attendees, they are given a VOW Digital Health Pass that shows they are cleared to attend the event. If, however, access is denied, the individual is directed to live support or can join virtually.

“The possibilities for the use of this app are endless,” says Jennifer Brisman, VOW Founder and CEO. “Think of all the events that were canceled this past year: basketball games, weddings, galas. With VOW Digital Health, people can attend these events with greater confidence and enjoy a part of life that we are all missing. What is truly unique about our app is that we especially focus on helping employers and event organizers. Most apps help just consumers, so ours is one of a kind.”

After a year of a dramatically changed society, the release of VOW Digital Health comes at the perfect time. The event, meeting, entertainment, and hospitality industries, which have suffered because of either canceled events or limited attendance, will welcome the new app, especially as states like New York release restrictions on gatherings while requiring testing and rapid testing sites.

“The pandemic is dynamic, and professionals will be relieved that we can partner with them to quickly establish a tenable process,” says Brisman, a tech founder and 20-year veteran of the event industry. “I am so excited that VOW Digital Health will support employers and event organizers by managing the data they need to ensure safety, resume operations as normal, restore confidence, and get back in the black.”
