RightBridge Financial Group Creates Memorial Foundation
Englewood, NJ – RightBridge Financial Group, a financial planning and wealth management company, has announced the creation of a foundation in memory of Sandra Gebert, the mother of company founder Keith Gebert. The memorial will work with a variety of other foundations and causes, as community outreach is a significant part of RightBridge’s mission.
RightBridge has long supported the Make-A-Wish® Foundation, and for 2023, it has added support to the Tim Tebow Foundation. The firm’s team feels that supporting charitable organizations is central to the company’s business goals of helping people manage their finances in a way that allows them to make the most of their time, energy, and assets. Part of RightBridge’s financial planning services includes end of life decisions, which, for many clients, includes designating funds to be donated to charities.
RightBridge made the decision to add support to the Tim Tebow Foundation and create its own memorial to Sandra Gebert as a way to give back; but the leadership team realizes the potential for an increase in brand loyalty and positive public relations as a benefit of these actions. More importantly, this will provide a platform for RightBridge employees to get involved in volunteer work and community service, fostering a sense of purpose and creating a positive work culture.
While a charitable foundation can serve as a tax-efficient way for a business to give back, as well as provide opportunities for philanthropic giving and community involvement, RightBridge is more interested in making a significant impact on the lives of children and families in need.
RightBridge founder Keith Gebert has been personally dedicated to charitable work for years. He has donated 100% of the proceeds of his book, Stress-Testing Your Savings, which is featured by Forbes Councils, to the Make a Wish Foundation.
“When my mother passed, it was only natural for me to channel my grief into the conception of the Sandy’s Way Foundation,” he shares. “It’s a way to keep her memory alive while benefiting others who are in need of some support.”
He adds that RightBridge decided to begin supporting the Tim Tebow Foundation because it aligns the business with a well-known and reputable organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of children across the globe. “This foundation is dedicated to supporting orphans, kids with medical issues, and it also fights human trafficking,” Gebert says. “For us, it was an easy choice. We don’t make a secret of the fact that our bottom line is far less important than the fact that the success of the firm allows us to offer even more support to these organizations.”
He shares that the expansion of RightBridge’s charitable contributions is made possible by the recent significant growth of the company. RightBridge is in talks to partner with another New Jersey-based Registered Investment Advisory firm, and the firm is also in the process of hiring new chief investment officers.
“We are rolling out an entirely new investment strategy to clients this year,” Gebert says. “We’re so pleased at how the firm has grown, and we can further plans in place. I would really like to start a financial mentorship program aimed at kids and young adults, so they can get a head start in life with financial wisdom and education.”
RightBridge provides financial planning to select individuals and families, helping them protect and grow their wealth, manage potential risks, utilize smart tax planning, and create a legacy for their future. Keith Gebert is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor CRPC®, and has a Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) Certification from Wharton; he is also a Forbes Finance Council Member.
“We are looking at modeling the Sandra Gebert Foundation after some of the well-known and respected charities we currently support,” Gebert reveals. Along with Make a Wish and the Tim Tebow Foundation, RightBridge also serves as a Veterans Affairs Advocate and is a member of Sons of Vets and the Knights of Columbus. Keith Gebert is a bone marrow donor at the Miami Children’s Hospital and was the youngest single Wish Grantor at Make a Wish New Jersey.
“My personal mission is to live my best, most extraordinary life by helping others to live theirs,” he says. “At RightBridge, we strive to collectively continue to grow and help bring love, life and education to others around us.”
