Wayne Capital Partners Announces Real Estate Investment Fund

Dallas, TX–

A minority-owned private equity firm named Wayne Capital Partners has just announced the launch of a $10 million real estate investment fund. This fund, called Wayne Emerging Capital Fund LP I, has been designed to breathe new life into underserved communities across the United States by investing in the growth of small minority-owned businesses and redeveloping real estate opportunities.

The new real estate investment fund for minority-owned businesses from Wayne Capital Partners aims to offer investors a unique opportunity to support diversity and inclusion in the real estate industry while also generating strong returns. The founder and CIO of Wayne Capital Partners, Keith Smith, is excited about this fund as he hopes for it to provide more opportunities for minority investors to get involved in the alternative investment space and build generational wealth. “We’re very passionate about investing in communities of color, minority entrepreneurs, and small businesses that serve those communities,” he mentions.

“What’s really interesting is that our first $3 million fund has already provided investment opportunities in various industries like SAAS, food and beverage, real estate, and logistics companies,” says Smith. “This investment has returned $7.35 million to investors to date.” And the firm hopes to continue this trend of success with its new $10 million real estate investment fund. The new fund hopes to provide investment opportunities in real estate projects, as well as other industries such as SAAS, food and beverage, and logistics, similar to the firm’s first $3 million fund.

Smith is not only a serial entrepreneur but also a former college basketball player and a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington. He believes in leaving management in place to run successful businesses while providing comprehensive support and resources designed to promote strong growth.

“As a firm, we are on a mission to finance the future growth of businesses that have a proven track record of marginal growth and a strong vision but lack the resources to sustain growth and scale,” states Smith. “We’re excited to provide this great news for minority-owned businesses and underserved communities across the country.” The company hopes that the new fund will help those from minority communities to start and grow their own businesses and invest money in real estate in areas that need it. “The long term goal, in our eyes,  is to create more jobs and opportunities for people in those communities, and help make those neighborhoods even better places to live.”
