Austin, TX – Real estate and entrepreneurship podcast Real Estate Virgins is pleased to announce that it has finalized a new line-up of topics and guests for the first and second quarter of 2023. The podcast is hosted by John Michael Perez, who started the podcast, and Jordan Brown, both real estate agents and entrepreneurs.

Formerly known as the JMP Podcast, Real Estate Virgins is an educational podcast that was created based upon Perez’s passion for providing tools, resources, information, and education to others in the real estate industry – particularly those just starting out.

Perez is a Victoria native who now works and lives in Texas as a real estate agent and community builder. His specialty is flipping and short term rentals and he got into real estate after years of waiting tables as he educated himself on the ins and outs of the real estate industry. His goal in creating his podcast is to offer others the leg-up that he wishes he’d had.

“I care deeply for those who are starting out in this market,” he says. “I host real estate classes, which sell out quickly and allow standing room only. This has demonstrated to me that emerging real estate agents are hungry for information that they can only get from experienced agents. You can’t learn these things from a book.”

Perez is an award-winning Realtor, having been named Top Producer for his brokerage in 2022 and having won a recruitment challenge as well. “I’m excited for the new episodes of our podcast and the guests we have lined up for 2023,” he says. “Helping other agents is so key to what I do. I’ve been able to help agents grow their business up to four times the original size after a year of working with me. I want to offer that education to more and more real estate agents.”

Perez grew up in a dilapidated trailer, his family relying on welfare to survive. Now he has grown his business to the point where it’s making multiple millions of dollars in sales regularly. “My childhood wasn’t easy,” he says. “It was a very tough road, but I’m passionate about sharing the vision of positivity. I believe that the person who cares the most actually wins the most.”

Perez shares that he is currently growing his business and looks forward to employing and educating more young real estate agents. He has plans to open a non-profit facility in Austin that will cater to fathers who are struggling; he envisions a refuge for dads to play sports, enjoy a work space and event center, and receive assistance and education about bettering their lives. Perez is also in the early planning stages of writing a book about his own life’s journey.

He invites anyone in – or interested in – the real estate industry to listen to his podcast, which discusses every aspect of the industry. “Goals are important, but daily actionable tasks that are sustainable for a consistent basis are key to getting massive results,” he says. “That is what Real Estate Virgins will focus on for 2023: implementing actionable tasks to achieve measurable results.”
