The Sinking City Remastered Surprise Launches Today, Free For Existing Owners

<p style=”line-height:1.38;margin-bottom:0pt;margin-top:0pt;” dir=”ltr”>Frogwares has surprise launched The Sinking City Remastered, a remaster of its detective Eldritch adventure game, first released in 2019. It’s available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC and is free for all existing owners of the original game. </p><p style=”line-height:1.38;margin-bottom:0pt;margin-top:0pt;” dir=”ltr”> </p><p style=”line-height:1.38;margin-bottom:0pt;margin-top:0pt;” dir=”ltr”>Originally developed in Unreal Engine 4, the remastered version of The Sinking City has been fully relit in Unreal Engine 5 with 4K textures, improved reflections, support for PC features like DLSS and FSR upscaling, a new Photo Mode, and more. It also features “enhanced locations with additional levels of detail and objects,” according to a press release from Frogware. It made this announcement alongside news of a <a href=”https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/frogwares/the-sinking-city-2″>Kickstarter campaign</a> to help fund the development of <a href=”https://gameinformer.com/product/the-sinking-city-2″>The Sinking City 2</a>.
