Monique Rose, Restauranteur and Social Media Personality, Set to Speak at 5th Annual Sweatpants & Chill Retreat in Cambridge, Maryland
COLLEGE PARK, Georgia – Monique Rose, Founder of Monique Rose Management, is set to speak at the 5th Annual Sweatpants & Chill Retreat October 21-23 in Cambridge, Maryland. The restauranteur and motivational speaker recently opened two new eateries in the Washington, D.C. area, and in historic College Park, Georgia.
Opened in May 2022, The Real Milk & Honey Market Eatery & Bar is a spin-off of the original brand concept Milk & Honey that Rose helped grow to over $30M in revenue since inception. The brand was sold in 2020 and she retained two locations in the transaction.
The Bodega opened in September of this year and is a New York-style gourmet deli sandwich and extreme shake shop with plans to feature milkshakes that can be spiked with alcohol.
As a multi-hyphenated entrepreneur, Monique Rose is on a mission to “outwork everybody.” Her tagline continues to manifest as she expands her empire one industry at a time.
In 2011, Monique settled into restaurant consulting and management in the Atlanta, Georgia area and has since built her brand by opening and successfully operating more than a dozen restaurants/bars throughout the United States, including Milk & Honey Cafe, in 2016. Monique Rose Management is now the culmination of 20 years of experience and is the parent company to her current Restaurant, Retail, Beauty and Wellness, and Commercial Real Estate portfolio. She also passionately operates a new non-profit organization called Rags to Roses, which focuses on providing resources to underserved demographics of young women.
“I believe the most beautiful thing about success is that it is by definition the accomplishment of an aim or purpose,” explains Rose. “Which means that it is defined by the individual and not the masses. What an amazing thing that you can choose your own success literally. Entrepreneurship is defined by the person that is willing to assume the most risk for their own idea, product, or service. You must be willing to initiate, and then follow through to execution and beyond. Execution is what separates an entrepreneur from everybody else that just has an idea.”
Rose’s management and restaurant consulting firm, Monique Rose Management, is the umbrella over several business ventures, including a content creation studio compound, The Collab ATL; an exotic snack shop, Milk & Cookies; a commercial and residential real estate company, M&H Holdings LLC; and a beauty and wellness brand, Mink & Honey Beauty.
Rose reveals that she has plans to create and sell at least two more restaurant concepts in the next five years.
“I see myself having built and sold at least another two restaurant concepts in the next five years and building my beauty and wellness brand to include thousands of affiliates with at least 100 of them being 6-figure earners or more,” said Rose. “My real estate portfolio will grow to include several states and mixed-use properties.”
