Rich E Shaw is the Written Voice of Inspiration

A motivational speaker paired with an author is not commonly found. Often, speakers will touch those around them with their voice – loud, pronounced, and inspiring. On the flip side, authors will speak to others in quieter ways, touching the hearts of many individually through symbolic and well-crafted words and sentences that make up an idea. Rich E Shaw is a bit of an enigma – he can do both.

“I’ve been in entrepreneurship since I was a child,” he states, “My grandparents were both business owners.” Shaw was raised looking up to the heights of inspiring figures, always reaching for the stars himself. He aims to inspire everyone around him in this way too, showing them that with determination and some people skills, one can achieve anything, no matter where one starts from.

The multi-millionaire serial entrepreneur wasn’t always the owner of several businesses. “I had to learn,” states Shaw. “The journey wasn’t easy but I always believed bumps in the road could lead to developing strength and resilience.” Shaw has treated every mistake or misfortune with this attitude, eventually founding Rich Publishing House, Rich Innovations, RESCORP Properties, LLC. and instigating various other positive changes throughout the world.

Shaw began his education in mechanical engineering at Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge, La., and obtained an associate degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Dallas College El Centro in Dallas, Texas. He then earned a master’s degree in Supervision and Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M University after earning a bachelor’s and associate degree. He also earned a BS from Paul Quinn College in Secondary Education in English and History.

“I took my education at heart and used it to help others,” states the entrepreneur who was also an Associate Principal in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and served as an Academic Coordinator at Paul Quinn College from 2005 to 2007. In 2008, he was selected as the Principal of Clay Academy and held the position until 2009. Shaw also taught English at all levels of high school for several years. “I believe this experience helped me hone my ability to educate, encourage, and mentor,” states Shaw.

“I now use my businesses to change the world, while mentoring others, and to pursue my writing passion,” says Shaw.

Through Rich Innovations, Shaw invented the machine that changed dispensing machines forever. Using his sense of design and inventive energy, Shaw is recognized for creating the “Credit and Debit Receiving and Dispensing Device,” a device that makes it possible to dispense goods without needing cash currency. “I’ve served my community on the Duncanville Planning and Zoning Committee for many years as well as a member of the National Inventors Hall of Fame,” asserts Rich Innovations’ founder.

Shaw holds 12 U.S. patents and is regarded by many as one of the greatest African American innovators in US history. He was also inducted into the Hall of Elite Inventors. The “Credit and Debit Receipt and Dispensing Device” was developed at that time, says Shaw. Customers can distribute items through the vending machine system using both credit and debit cards. Shaw’s innovation has earned two Industrial Design Excellence Awards from the Industrial Design Society of America and is deployed extensively at airports, parks, malls, and business entities throughout the country.

“I then took to mentoring and coaching others on how to truly dive into what they love,” says Shaw. His life coaching services aim to help those who are struggling in any area – financial, relationship, career, and more – by helping them find balance, resilience, and uncover new ways to become better. “I’ve always had a passion for helping others,” says Shaw. This is why he also founded Rich Publishing House.

“I believe in using one’s talents to make the world a better place,” he asserts. Rich Publishing House leverages Shaw’s achievements as a brilliant writer and in academics. Clients who lack the time or abilities to effectively communicate their emotions through words are meant to use the publishing company’s ghostwriter services. The company offers clients a broad range of services, including press releases, scripts, novels, magazine articles, online blogs, and everything in between.

“I’m a writer at heart,” mentions Shaw. “I can’t wait to inspire and help more with what I’ve learned and will continue to learn over the years.”
